Dan Kaszeta’s Book

Dan Kaszeta’s recent book, published by Wiley in November 2012,  is called CBRN and Hazmat Incidents at Major Public Events: Planning and Response

448 pages, ISBN 978-1-1182-8819-1

This book is the first major work on this subject in book form.  Many books are available, of varying length and quality, discussing the issues of CBRN/Hazmat response.  A handful of books discuss the issues of securing major events from threats.  However, this is the first serious attempt to address the diverse and challenging issues of safeguarding the major event environment against the full spectrum of CBRN and Hazmat incidents and accidents.

Perhaps the most useful part of this book is the final section, consisting of 14 practical scenarios for use in discussion, training, and exercises.
